Application Modernization & Migration - Operations Program Manager

Are you a dynamic, proactive and decisive professional who exhibits business process knowledge, possesses a broad-based operational perspective and provides solutions for strategic issues?

We're looking for a sharp analytical thinker who is comfortable creating structure to meet objectives in an environment that can occasionally be ambiguous. The Operations Program Manager will have the ability to multi-task and deliver on several projects in a fast-paced, high-visibility setting.

Work you'll do

An Application Modernization & Migration Operations Program Manager has a critical role as a member of the Offering leadership team, with significant responsibilities in leading strategic initiatives and working across the matrix on go-to-market collaboration.

Key Responsibilities may include:

Strategic Projects

• Drive and enable execution of strategic priorities

• Engage with sector leadership teams to support go-to-market and internal initiatives

• Manage deadlines, project timelines and deliverables as required by specific project scope and leadership review cycles, including delivery of regular updates to leadership

Financial Operations

• Support forecasting and periodic business processes and reporting

• Support annual offering investment processes (budgeting, allocations, spend) and ROI updates

Pursuit, Eminence, Talent, and Knowledge Management

• Coordinate with offering leadership teams to ensure a successful strategic marketplace approach and robust opportunity management process

• Support and enable key eminence initiatives

• Support talent programs/initiatives such as: recruiting, training, culture, community, etc.

• Support knowledge management for practice such as: maintenance of practice site, proposal materials, quals capture, etc.


• Lead the preparation of meeting agendas and materials for various leadership and practice meetings

  • Support practice communications and coordination across the offering portfolio for execution of core communications

The AMI practice delivers end-to-end technology solutions to enable and improve our clients' core business operations. AM&I is composed of three different areas- Service Delivery & Business Design, Application Modernization & Migration and Quality Engineering.


  • Travel up to 25%-50% (While 25-50% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
  • Location: US

  • Comfortable thinking in the "white space," navigating ambiguity and adapting to emerging priorities
  • Strong project management and technical skills, good judgment and willingness to tackle both strategic priorities and operational processes
  • Client service experience at a senior consultant or manager level preferred
  • Understanding of the Deloitte culture and operating model
  • Proven ability to manage and work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Proven self-starter and self-manager who is comfortable with ambiguity
  • Unyielding focus on quality results (analyses and deliverables)
  • Ability to interact and interface with all levels within the firm, including leadership
  • Team player with a "customer focused" mentality
