Chubb IT Corporate Systems has an opening for an IT Process Manager. This position will play a critical role in the support and enhancements of highly visible and strategically significant PPM (Project and Portfolio Management) applications. The candidate must have strong Clarity PPM technical and functional experience along with the aptitude to quickly pick up complex enterprise systems. Overall responsibilities include all aspects of application support and development; including data analysis, detailed technical design, coding, and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

This role requires the candidate to integrate with, and actively contribute to a well-established application and PMO tools support team. Candidate must have good customer facing skills while being able to troubleshoot and problem solve application issues independently.

Responsibilities include:

Clarity PPM Training – Must have functional knowledge of the Clarity PPM tool with the ability to train users on a wide range of roles PMO Power users/Clarity Leads, Project Managers and Time Entry users

Experience with building, deploying and socializing change through eLearning software.

Schedule, monitor and run Clarity PPM process engine and workflows.

Lead and deliver projects successfully from planning to adoption

Communicate effectively with colleagues and partners in a global company

Partner with teams to identify client's requirements for Clarity

Represent and ensure end users interests when implementing functional changes in

partnership with vendor partners and technical teams.

Highly desired: Expertise with creating and deploying on demand training content.

Highly desired: Experience using NSQL, GEL, Jaspersoft, and a deep understanding of the Clarity PPM database structure.

Candidate is expected to be a self-starter who will actively contribute to the stability, support and maturity of the product as well as any additional responsibilities supporting corporate applications.

Monitor a shared support mailbox – work directly with users on Clarity issues

Clarity Training – PMO/Clarity Leads, Timesheets and Project Managers

Maintain the Clarity Village Page (companywide workplace communication and management tool)

Participate in Clarity Best Practices and data compliance calls with a Global audience

Complete resource creates and edits and monitor automation processes

Monitor and fix Invalid Transactions

Run/build SQL queries as needed

Participate in system updates and upgrades

Provide in depth functional and technical support to end users

Qualifications - External

Work Experience and Skills:

  • Overall experience of seven years or more in IT
  • Deep technical and functional knowledge of Broadcom Clarity PPM is highly desired.
  • Insurance Industry Experience preferred but not required
  • Technical leadership (develop/refine design, develop and allocate technical tasks, monitor progress and review code/deliverables)
  • Strong technical experience at least one programming language, Python, Java, SQL (preferred but not required)
  • Experience in the following areas: Web and Client/Server applications, SQL Server, and XML. (preferred but not required)
  • Ability to develop low level design and code to architectural specifications
  • Knowledge of design patterns, coding standards, best practices and performance tuning
  • Strong analysis, design and debugging capabilities
  • Ability to size/estimate tasks and then plan for the execution of that work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Be proactive, self-motivated, detail-oriented, creative, inquisitive and persistent
  • Strong team emphasis and relationship building skills; create effective partnerships with business, and other IT support areas
  • Ability to organize, plan and implement work assignments, prioritize competing demands and work under pressure of frequent and tight deadlines

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a similar major preferred
