What you will do-This position leads indirect procurement of multiple sourcing categories: including, but not limited to Fleet, Corporate Marketing and Administrative spend. The responsibilities include source selection, contract negotiations and administration of complex multi-million-dollar contracts. Perform internal spend analysis, prepare bid packages, propose analysis and evaluation, contract provision negotiation, supplier selection/recommendation, contract award and administration.Additional Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for selecting, consolidating and managing one or more 3rd party fleet management providers, who will cycle and maintain 1,000+ vehicles and support drivers to transport company goods efficiently and save money
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure deep understanding of needs and strategies
  • Manage the strategic sourcing across multiple business lines; performs the end-to-end sourcing and stakeholder engagement process
  • Develop and drive category strategies including market assessment, internal and external influences, pricing drivers etc.
  • Partner, interface, and build relationships with internal customers to understand their requirements for products and services
  • Draft, negotiate, develop and execute supplier agreements, statements of work, service level agreements, and RFx documents with the objective of creating strategic business opportunities and savings for the organization
  • Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships to help reduce costs and eliminate inefficiencies
  • Utilize multi-step sourcing to gather requirements, launch RFx initiatives, evaluate and analyze results, and communicate recommendations to all levels of the organization and external supply base
  • Evaluate and manipulate supplier spend data to assess savings opportunities and develop category strategies
  • Utilize legal and risk management knowledge to minimize contractual risk, obtain executive signatures, and avoid contractual and/or commitment issues
  • Ensure that suppliers and service providers comply with all service level agreements and regulatory requirements for the products and/or services that they provide.
  • Review specifications and capital expense/allocation requests (CARs) to understand internal client needs, budgetary requirements, and savings opportunities meeting project deliverables and timelines
What you need-
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 8+ years of related experience required
  • Marketing experience- highly preferred
  • Ability to set and monitor a budget- highly preferred
  • Exceptional organization, time management and multitasking abilities- highly preferred
