What you will do -

As a leader, you will be responsible for developing and executing the groups direct procurement strategy in coordination with global leaders. You will influence, engage and collaborate with senior leaders, including the Global Customer Care Vice President, Senior Directors of Sales and Marketing to drive execution and adoption of direct procurement best practices and deliver savings in line with the group’s budget initiatives. You will lead a team of functional experts across a broad range of functions and is instrumental in propelling ProCare revenue from $300M to $500M over the next five years.

You will provide leadership and direction to the Supply Chain team within Stryker Instruments Global Customer Care which includes, supervisors, material handlers Supply/Demand planning, purchasing, and inventory control. You will be involved in system maintenance, inventory control and accuracy, root cause analysis, physical inventory, supplier packaging, labeling, enforcement, and manufacturing engineering initiatives impacting inventory storage. You will lead the development and implementation of specific strategies and projects related to talent, employee engagement, cost reduction, efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.

As the Senior Manager of Service Supply Chain will add impact by:

  • Leading the development and implementation of strategies and goals for Supply Chain in support of overall divisional business objectives.

  • Partnering with the Commercial, Manufacturing and Global Customer Care Leadership Team to deliver results in line with the vision, mission, and objectives of the business

  • Influencing the direction of supply chain within Global Customer Care

  • Ensuring materials are ordered and in stock to meet company requirements, while maintaining acceptable inventory levels for Kenco/third parties, Service Depot and Field Service

  • Developing goals and objectives for team and coaching team members to deliver strong performance and develop within their role.

  • Building a talent strategy focused on a diverse and inclusive culture - partnering with HR to recruit, develop, retain, engage, and proactively identify future needs and candidates.

  • Embracing responsibility for driving improved processes and systems to deliver results in product availability, inventory dollars, inventory accuracy, on time delivery, forecast accuracy and supplier relationships

  • Developing and benchmarking best practices across Stryker divisions and Industry

  • Owning Responsibility for material flow between Kenco, Service Depot, Field Service and Global Repair Centers

  • Developing strong partnership relationships with functional operations, quality, field service, engineering teams, other disciplines, and global initiative teams within the businesses

What you need-

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related curriculum, required

  • 10 years of experience in materials management of which, 3 years in managerial and change management experience, required

  • Experience leading complex teams with multiple layers of leadership, required

  • Experience with SAP, preferred
