What you will do -

You will work closely with Plant leadership, franchise supply planning leaders, franchise procurement leaders, local sourcing leaders and center of excellence teams to design & standardize the execution process to adjust safely levels and other MRP parameters across all Stryker sites and franchises globally. You will initially have a special focus on Raw Materials inventory optimization via safety level optimization and other MRP parameters and realize inventory reduction opportunities on Stryker’s balance sheet.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Develop the inventory reduction execution process by collaborating with all necessary stakeholders and ensure clear roles and responsibilities as well as smooth handoffs across all Stryker sites globally
  • Lead, implement and project manage inventory optimization projects and ensure project timelines are regularly communicated and completed on time
  • Drive operational excellence in the RM planning domain by standardizing and implementing a robust, scalable MRP planning process improvements
  • Build tools to aid in the inventory optimization projects by working with IT and other subject matter experts across the company
  • Collaborate with finance to improve and ensure RM reporting is fully transparent in the financial inventory reports
  • Develop recommendations for inventory optimization opportunities through collaboration and benchmarking exercises of the end-to-end supply chain with associated benefits & resources requirements and present to Leadership Team on regular basis
  • Report out on project progress using executive dashboards and storyboards calling out the accomplishments, inventory reductions to date and areas to focus
  • Coach planners and other inventory optimization teams on best practices in planning process
  • Setup trainings and workshops where needed
  • Develop and maintain a close working relationship with material managers, plant manages, procurement, and planning leaders

What you need -

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain management or similar field is required. An MBA or a Master’s in Supply Chain Management is highly preferred
  • 8+ years of experience required, preferred in Supply Chain or Planning Management, Financial planning
  • MRP planning experience required; Must have knowledge of Supply chain planning tools like Oracle Demantra and ASCP or SAP APO /SAP IBP, Hyperion or commercial sales forecasting processes, Operations budget planning process
  • Hands on work experience running IBP processes, (FP&A) financial planning and analysis and project management - highly preferred
  • International experience or experience working with plants and sales organizations located globally - highly preferred
  • Strong negotiation & management by influence skills with the ability to drive results through a global matrix structure is required
  • Experience in the medical/automotive industry - preferred
