What you’ll be doing...

The Senior Manager of Data Engineering for the Enterprise Team within Corporate Systems Group (CSG) organization will lead a team of high performing systems finance functional experts for several ERP general ledgers (GL) and finance reconciliation platforms. In this role, you will be a key global leader in leading the digital transformation journey and operational excellence both internal to the CSG team and within the finance community. The Senior Manager will need to lead a cultural and mindset transformation in building in building frictionless, resilient and touch free experiences using all the state of the art automation tools and processes like Robotic Process Automation (RPA), AI/ML and realize AIOps goals. You will lead and serve as a bridge between the finance community and multiple technical teams for end to end support of finance functional processes (Ex: Accounting, General Ledger, Finance HR Mini Master, Ledger Reconciliations).

  • Foster and implement AIOps, NoOps, DataOps using best in class Native, RPA, RDA and AI/ML tools. Envision, design and build zero touch frictionless processes for both the CSG and Finance Organizations.
  • Direct responsibility for the Reporting and General Ledger systems functional support team across ERP systems, including PeopleSoft, SAP, and Costpoint.
  • Provide ERP systems support for all accounting and finance teams during and between accounting periods including, but not limited to opening and closing periods, monitoring journals, interfaces and tying out system and functional reports.
  • Direct responsibility for the systems functional support of the BlackLine Account Reconcilation Tool and local administrative functions.
  • Direct responsibility of the Control and Command role for the Central Finance and HR Mini Master Interfaces using the SAP Automated Interface Framework (AIF).
  • Direct responsibility for multiple SOX System Controls and Quarterly Access Reviews for BlackLine and each of the ERP systems supported, and provide Auditors with monthly supporting documentation for both Ledger ending balances and Journal Entry activity across each ERP system.
  • Establish and oversee effective issue resolution, change control, and risk management processes.
  • Build, nurture, foster, expand and maintain excellent and effective trusted relationships with business partners and within the CSG and GTS Organizations.
  • Be a role model, seer, coach and a visionary leader who can navigate across multiple domains and complexity.

This role will be based out of one of the locations listed in the posting. In this role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience planning, designing, building and supporting technology and automation solutions for business functions and processes.
  • Proven past success with large system program implementations (SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle).
  • Experience with RPA/RDA Tools such as UIPath/Automation Anywhere.
  • Experience with Natural Language Generation (NLG) & Natural Language Processing (NLP).
  • Experience with ChatBots.
  • Experience with AI/ML and Predictive Analysis tools.
  • Experience with BlockChain for Finance.

Even better if you have:

  • BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, Project Management and or equivalent work experience.
  • Master's degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, FP&A or Project Management.
  • Experience managing across varied Finance, Business, and Technical stakeholder groups and maintaining key relationships.
  • Experience with a strong (project) management background.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and supporting business critical 24X7 production systems, lead real-time high stake risk mitigation plan and drive timely decisions.
  • Ability to perform in a high volume, fast paced changing environment with good time-management skills and the ability to manage teams independently.
  • Demonstrated highly developed team leadership skills and the ability to manage internal / external resources to achieve project objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and remain focused through change or uncertainty.
  • Strong experience in executive communication including presentation preparation and delivery.
  • Strong background in Finance, Accounting and ERP systems.
  • Formal training and/or certifications in project management methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma Methodologies, PMP Certifications, etc.)
  • Ability to excel in a high volume, fast paced changing environment with good time-management skills and the ability to manage teams.
  • Strong organizational skills to coordinate and manage multiple cross divisional work process and projects.
  • Ability to mentor, develop and previous people management or supervisory experience.
