As a Lead Business Analyst in our Hybrid-Operate group, you'll have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience working alongside leading professionals across diverse industries.
Work you'll do
As a Lead Business Analyst, you will work on client teams supporting our technology products - including onboarding new client implementations, performing data analytics, and expanding existing business features and functionality to meet client needs. You will be working with other analysts and developers to identify and address technical and non-technical issues. Other responsibilities may include:
- Helping clients streamline operations, automate tasks, and improve processes in their finance, accounting, and operations functions
- Advising clients on tailored solutions for their regulatory reporting and infrastructure needs, while managing expecting regarding final deliverables and timing
- Facilitating use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design and/or implement asset management products and services
- Gathering and analyzing client requirements, and configuring products and implementation to meet those requirements
- Conducting User Acceptance Testing of system enhancements and new applications, including initial root cause analysis of failures
- Building financial cash flow and allocation models on new technologies including Deloitte's proprietary Cascade Suite
- Preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials such as reports, findings, and systems training
- Building reports using Crystal Reports and SSRS and ad-hoc queries in SQL
- Overseeing a team of business analysts and provide constructive on-the-job feedback
- Ensuring timely billing of clients

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, or related field (or foreign equivalent)
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the alternative investment marketplace
- A solid understanding of database systems and financial technologies (such as Investran, Geneva, and Yardi, MRI, and iLevel)
- A background in interpreting legal documents (such as LPAs) along with an understanding of common fund structures
- Understanding of capital calls, distribution notices, and priority of payments in the alternatives space
- Strong comfort with Microsoft Excel, SQL, and/or Oracle
- Experience improving business processes and modeling/translate financial concepts
