Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operational support of providers and end-users
  • Clinical application configuration
  • Workflow development and Training
  • Monitor and maintain data HL7 transactions
  • Data integrity validation
  • Support planning and implementing software releases including testing and training
  • Develop and execution of test plans and scenarios for the core business system and related processes/systems
  • Assess/interpret and Anticipate customer needs and requirements, proactively develop solutions to meet needs
  • Serves as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues
  • Translates concepts into practice
  • Participates as key/primary resource in IT Projects
  • Provides explanations and information to others on difficult issues
  • Reviews work performed by others and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Cross-market and Regional coverage for Clinical Systems
  • Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience, which could be a combination of systems analyst or applications analyst in a healthcare environment supporting financial or clinical systems and applications
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination, and boosters when applicable, prior to employment to ensure compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of directly related experience
  • 1+ years of Allscripts Enterprise E.H.R. and/or other EMR experience required, which could be a combination of systems analyst, applications analyst and/or EMR/E.H.R
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data; problem solving skills
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a multi-faceted, fast paced IT and business environment
  • Skilled in a variety of software application
  • Team and collaboration skills

Colorado Residents Only: The salary/hourly range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
