The Provider Database Product Analyst will report to and work directly with the Director, Product Operations and will work alongside all members of the product operations team. We are looking for a Provider Database Product Analyst that is excited to drive our product-led organization to excellence and provide operation support of the provider database for the naviHealth’s portfolio of products. You will research, coordinate, and facilitate all provider database updates into our products to internal and external audiences, collaborating with other business units to address gaps in our database operations. In this role, you will work directly with our product and engineering teams and be responsible for building and executing on provider database requests and release readiness.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal and external clients on understanding their business needs. Understand what data needs to be collected, and how to go about collecting it
  • Identify data gaps and work with technology teams to architect and implement the capturing of new data
  • Identify process improvements to achieve goals related to product and customer support where the provider database is impacted
  • Train the team on product knowledge around the provider database as required
  • Identify product ideas and opportunities based on industry trends, current market environment and competitive trends as it involves expanding or changing the provider database
  • Provide outstanding customer service to ensure customer satisfaction to our internal and external customers
  • Provide support to customers on function and usage of the provider database and how changes to the database impacts the application
  • Maintain the updates and additions to the provider database via Salesforce, CMS updates or design sessions with the cross functional team
  • Agile principles and mindsets to be used to accomplish deliverables and communication
  • Participates in Product Roadmap planning and all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) relating to provider data bases
  • Provide ad hoc reports/data analysis to various stakeholders
  • Take ownership of our data and constantly improve its quality and integrity; proactively identify data quality issues at every step and coordinate the implementation of required fixes
  • Maintain current information in relevant databases and address client requests as needed
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of combined work and internship experience in a data analyst position or similar role with responsibility for both researching and managing data sets to ensure high quality and integrity
  • 2+ years of combined work and internship experience gathering, interpreting and analyzing data to provide valuable business insights and suggestions
  • 2+ years of combined work and internship experience with Excel and SQL, and/or other data software/tools
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid data research skills including the ability to determine primary and secondary source material and assess quality
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Capable of defining requirements, gathering and validating information

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $54,400 to $97,000. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $60,000 to $106,700. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
