The Associate Business Process Analyst is responsible for a variety of functions relating to general business operations including end-to-end business process activities - creating, controlling and improving business processes. This position is also responsible for quality reporting, analysis and audits and for maintaining plans and programs to support continuous quality improvement using applicable tools.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate understanding of ComfortCare’s operations, products and applications, strategies, processes, and/or business priorities in order to build effective solutions
  • Analyze business process information (e.g., metrics; analytics) to identify key issues, trends, and potential root causes (e.g., training issues; lack of understanding by user community) that point to improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., senior leadership; end users) to gain support and buy-in for proposed business process solutions
  • Conduct and/or support relevant testing (e.g., pre-production; user acceptance; post-production) to validate processes are working as designed
  • Report to relevant stakeholders (e.g., business sponsors; constituents) on benefits, challenges, and progress of solution implementation (e.g., risks and opportunities)
  • Communicate with stakeholders (e.g., senior leadership; end users) to keep them informed of key performance indicators and/or risks through informal and/or formal reporting
  • Flexibility and ability to manage changing priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience analyzing data and identifying trends
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment
  • Experience documenting processes
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Basic proficiency in SQL and database querying
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and handle multiple tasks/demands simultaneously
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination, and boosters when applicable, prior to employment to ensure compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/Administration
  • 2+ years of experience tracking short/long term programs
  • 1+ year of project coordination experience
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Experience with data visualization software (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau)
  • Demonstrated research, problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent analytical problem solving capabilities and special attention to accuracy and detail

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The hourly range for Colorado residents is $21.68 to $38.56. The hourly range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $23.94 to $42.40.
