The Global Business Analyst, Pet Owner Platform & Database is a key role within the Global Pet Owner Platform & Database Team. This role provides close support to the Global Product Owner so that product development and maturity is both valuable and viable, drawing on a deep knowledge and experience of building best-in-class data, analytics, website and e-retail tools. Additionally, this role supports the Product Owner with market mobilization, as well as supporting any improvements or optimizations of the Pet Owner Platform and Database roll-out process and documentation.

The Global Pet Owner Platform Business Analyst will work with and represent commercial business stakeholders to uncover and communicate user needs and assist in product discovery and localization activities across various markets. Instrumental in planning, designing, and conducting testing activities, and compiling critical content for training, communication and rolling out Pet Owner products for users.​ Whilst this is not an IT role, a strong understanding and solid experience of business to consumer (B2C) technical and functional product development is critical to be successful.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Product Owner, and business and IT stakeholder to develop and maintain the strategy for the Pet Owner database and dashboard, and cross-brand Pet Owner platform(s)

  • Work with business stakeholders to gather business and data requirements for the Pet Owner database and dashboard, and cross-brand Pet Owner platform(s) e.g., MyPet.com

  • Capture and document the business requirements and processes for the Pet Owner database and dashboard, and cross-brand Pet Owner platform(s)

  • Track Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and monitor performance for Pet Owner products

  • Apply a structured approach to discover, document, and manage business process, user and stakeholder needs, including opportunity statements, use cases, insights, and requirements

  • Support the Product Owner in managing the product roadmap, backlog, and release schedule (e.g., product enhancements), and market releases, in alignment with IT and key business partner objectives

  • Gain expertise in the business area at regional and market level to understand current and future commercial and operational processes as they relate to the Pet Owner database and dashboard, and cross-brand Pet Owner platform(s)

  • Conceptualize commercial outcomes from business requirements, driving a customer-first mindset and leveraging real-world insight to drive Pet Owner strategic benefit across the commercial organization

  • Leverage business and user insights to help inform solutioning ideas and prioritization decisions to deliver valuable Pet Owner products ​​

  • Work with and manage external partners as required to implement the Pet Owner database and dashboard, and cross-brand Pet Owner platform(s)

  • Team player and proactive

  • Collaborative approach to people, flexibility and responsiveness

Education Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma

This position can be based in any of our Company's Animal Health locations.

Onsite 2-3 times a month

Qualifications:

  • 4 + years of working experience in any of the following areas : consumer marketing, global marketing , management consulting, IT, or strategy/operations

  • Prior working experience in web-based products and product development

  • Strong communication skills

  • Prior working experience leading by example and nurturing a high-performing team

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior working experience on Scrum and other Agile methodologies
