The Sr. Product Analyst for Enterprise Preferences is both an investigator and interpreter. The role analyzes key initiative requirements while also defining desired future state requirements based on input from all applicable stakeholders. The Sr. Product Analyst identifies important gaps between current and future states, translating the need and owning the details of what it will take to address and eventually solve them.

In this important quest, the Sr. Product Analyst will engage key stakeholders, Senior Capability management, Technology partners and Subject Matter Experts across the entire footprint of the Company, inclusive of front-end and back-end connections, as well as the corresponding experience for both members and advocates. Enterprise Preferences serves over 90M members across the Enterprise and is integrated with 100+ systems, truly a Common Digital Capability with a pivotal role in Personalization, Communication Preferences and Contact Data.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drives and executes feature definition to new elements within Enterprise Preferences areas, as required
  • Defines requirements that align with charter, scope, and ultimate purpose for the work
  • Owns feature creation & management in Aha and CA Agile business planning and work management systems
  • Clearly understands and articulates the business value of their features and demonstrates in correlating documentation
  • Owns the feature from concept to execution; defines acceptance criteria and seeks needed approvals
  • Identifies operational readiness needs in collaboration with lines of business

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product or Business Analyst in a matrixed environment (business, technology, capability/constituent)
  • 3+ years of experience with preference management, personalization, or customer relationship management
  • 1+ years of experience with stakeholder management and formal business communication
  • Intermediate or higher proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with best practices/approaches related to the product/business analysis discipline (e.g., Business Analysis Body of Knowledge)
  • Experience with best practices/approaches related to product quality and productivity (e.g., process improvement, DMAIC, Lean)

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
