Act as liaison with business team to communicate complex issues in business terms to identify short term and long-term resolutions
Able to translate and communicate complex business concepts and issues to technical team to help drive real world solutions
Leverage experience, understanding of Model N product capabilities and BMS customs to algin with business team on appropriate priority assessment of defects and enhancements
Work with cross functional team to define and ensure delivery of solutions meeting identified business needs
Ability to quickly understand, assess, and identify issues and defects for both project testing support and operational issues as reported by the business team
Perform post-execution reviews of test executions by test team and flag intricate but critical discrepancies to enhance the overall quality of testing
Ability to take ownership of and lead assigned initiatives
Ability to build a functional and regression scope of test objectives and execute testing to ensure high quality of the developed solution
Qualifications & Experience:
4-6 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree preferred
Works predominately within established procedures. Actively participates in trouble-shooting of routine problems. Makes decisions that impact own work and other groups/teams. Works under minimal supervision. May act as a technical point of contact. Acts as a functional mentor to more junior team members. May represent team or function on program or project teams.
Does not have any supervisory responsibility, however, may act as a functional mentor to more junior team members.
Identifies key influencers and builds a network of internal/external relationships. Persuades and negotiate effectively with peers and customers on own work outcomes.
Makes decisions while understanding the team's work and how it fits into the broader enterprise. May need support from within the team or outside the team when working on broader or complex topics in understanding environment.
Identifies opportunities to improve and grow, balancing performance feedback and career development
Applies a continuous improvement mindset in enhancing efficiency, quality and effectiveness or their work outputs.
Displays understanding of performance metrics driving the team's goals and questions the external environment and its' implication on the goals and strategies.
Able to review multiple factors of data and can effectively organize information to compare and assess short and long-term implications. Can create a well-developed recommendation and sound actions.
Experience with implementing Model N upgrades and/or providing operational support for Model N
Significant business analysis experience
Ability to perform business analysis and document requirements
Ability to work with cross functional team to define and deliver solutions
Ability to write and execute complex test scripts
Ability to quickly learn BMS customizations to understand functional landscape
Ability to assess functional impact of defects and enhancements and work with test team to properly align release test scope
Ability to act as IT liaison to business team to document and communicate complex issues in business-friendly language
Ability to analyze and assess production issues in an expedited manner
Expertise on ERP Order to Cash (O2C) processes and integration with Model N a plus
Prior experience with Model N regulatory capabilities, e.g. Medicaid and Government Pricing modules a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must
Ability to meet aggressive deadlines
Ability to understand relational and object data models and a good understanding of complex application architecture
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools – Excel, Word, Powerpoint
Knowledge of automated test tools (e.g. Worksoft Cerity, Tricentis TOSCA) a plus
