Primary Role

The Senior Business Analyst assist with the development, documentation, testing, training, and implementation of the company’s strategic and new operational projects. The Analyst is a Subject Matter Expert in multiple business functions and maintains the relationship between the functional business teams and the technical teams for the formation, planning and execution. The position will be responsible for ensuring new initiatives and strategies are implemented timely, efficiently, and effectively.

Key Accountabilities

Functional Expertise:

  • Functional knowledge of PHS Oracle and Agent Desktop systems
  • Deep home warranty product knowledge
  • Lead and coordinate with other teams to create business documents (requirements, flows, risk mitigation, etc) that produce better business outcomes
  • Draft use and test cases for user acceptance testing
  • Manage and/or complete functional testing for each respective business area
  • Review, analysis, and approval of all functional and technical design documents
  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
  • Provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.

Business Acumen:

  • Knowledge of the table structure of different systems
  • Knowledge of all RSO functional business process
  • Analysis of Requirements, Process, Impacts and plan for mitigations
  • Knowledge of partner integration methodologies
  • Knowledge of project documentation methodologies

Engagement:

  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships across the organization at various management levels
  • Provide support and guidance to all functional areas on their respective projects and initiatives
  • Active participant in cross functional touchpoints and planning
  • Functional lead representing the respective business areas on various projects

Knowledge/Skills

Required:

  • MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Access, Visio, Project)
  • Strong Time Management Skill
  • Oracle and Agent Desktop knowledge
  • Self-Starter
  • Highly Organized

Preferred:

  • Advanced MS Excel
  • SQL

Experience/Education

Required:

  • Associates degree in Business or relevant experience
  • 5-10 years warranty back office experience is necessary

Preferred:

  • Bachelors degree in Business or relevant experience
  • Back office or system knowledge of Oracle and Agent Desktop
