SCOPE AND IMPACT OF JOB

The Business Analyst works closely with an agile project team and Product Owners to refine user stories for enhancements to the GED website. The BA facilitates meetings with internal/external partners, end users, and/or other stakeholders for functional software requirements and will provide input/feedback to design and test cases.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Education and Experience:

● Current student in Business/Information Systems/Computer Science/Technical Writing discipline or equivalent technical work experience required;

● Experience with requirement elicitation, requirements documentation, and requirements management;

● Experience with or knowledge of agile methodology and practices;

● Experience using Microsoft Office tools in a work setting (Word, Excel, Power Point);

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

● Ability to solve problems;

● Strong technical thinking, analytical, and conceptualization skills;

● Ability to assimilate information and distill knowledge within time constraints;

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

● Familiarity with web and mobile applications and usability;
