Job Title: Salesforce Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary

  • Responsible for US CMG Navigate BSA needs - executing the roadmap through monthly functional releases including leading the requirements and testing to stakeholder expectations
  • Responsible for implementing organizational delivery standards, monitoring work product quality, BA/QA resource task assignment, practitioner training, work scope management and the continuous enhancement of BA/QA practitioner delivery capabilities.
  • Responsible for ensuring all business analysis and quality assurance work products adhere to the practices and standards defined by Community of Practice and project leaders.
  • Responsible for ensuring all business analysis and quality assurance resources are trained, can effectively and consistently use supporting application life cycle management tools.
  • Responsible for determining level of effort estimations, monitoring task execution and meeting established project milestones.
  • Responsible for the timeliness and accuracy of necessary escalations, producing and maintaining applicable project metrics and status reporting within a project team.
  • Collaborates with technical delivery team members to maximize and leverage the understanding of business solution functional requirements and non-functional requirements.
  • Responsible for the documentation of formal requirements, use cases, user stories, test plans, test cases, test scripts and test suites which ensure that the software solutions developed and tested are fit for purpose, meet business needs and are operationally sustainable.
  • Responsible for ensuring all business analysis and quality assurance resources comply with time reporting and other mandated organizational and corporate policies.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Understands business strategy and objectives by studying the business function, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats. Elicits and documents functional requirements and test strategies for technical solutions to meet business needs.
  • Possesses advanced level understanding of BA, QA/QC professional standards, business processes, workflows, methodologies and leading practices.
  • Directs and monitors BA and QA/QC activities to ensure the traceability and optimum coverage of business requirements by defined test plans, test cases and test scripts.
  • Collaborates with application developers, designers, and architects to ensure a shared understanding of the business model and the detailed function requirements.
  • Establishes the estimation of requirements documentation and testing efforts for various projects and initiatives.
  • Manages the progress of projects by tracking activity, resolving issues, and recommending actions; Provides senior management and project management with regular updates on deliverable timeline and project status.
  • Responsible for conducting Design Thinking sessions to gain insights into end user and customer needs. Manages the Product Backlog for a product, working with the Technical Delivery Manager to prioritize requirements, define and manage scope and sprints for a project
  • Works with Technical Delivery Manager and end users to plan and execute User Acceptance Testing.
  • Participates in reviews of plans associated with project execution.
  • Responds proactively to both business and project issues and escalates appropriately.
  • Ensures communication of Change Management activities and confirms solution and schedule adaptability
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Technical Skills
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office is a must
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodology
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is required
  • Experience with Salesforce workflows, process builder, approval workflows
  • Experience with Salesforce Standard and Custom objects, fields, field validation rules
  • Experience writing and executing SOQL queries, test scripts and test cases
  • Proficient understanding of testing methodologies and how they're applied
  • Strong communication, technical and virtual collaboration skills are a must
  • Excellent organization, analytical, planning and leadership skills
  • Experience in dealing with multiple projects and cross-functional teams and ability to coordinate across teams in a large matrix organization environment
  • Strong relationship building and consulting skills. Fosters a climate conducive to establishing positive working relationships with clients and cross functional team members
  • Experience with Salesforce Analytics (Wave) is a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce Mobile requirements is a plus
  • Experience working with Salesforce Lightning experience is a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce integration applications is a plus

Required Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements
  • Scrum Master certification is a plus
  • Salesforce certifications is a plus
  • CBAP or CCBA certification is a plus

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or equivalent education preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of Business Analysis and/or Quality Assurance and testing experience
