The Application Modernization and Migration team is seeking a .NET developer to support our Atadata product where responsibilities will include product development, maintenance, debugging and documentation. This is an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in one of the hottest areas in the market - converting legacy code to modern languages to enable further innovation for our clients.

Our ATADATA team focuses on enabling our client's end to end Transformation journey, with opportunities in the areas of: Application landscape discovery, Move group development based upon affinity relationships, Cloud migration "from any to any" cloud vendor, Operating system upgrades and Linux transformation. We help our clients see the transformational capabilities of Cloud as an opportunity for business enablement and competitive advantage.

ATADATA supports our clients as they improve agility, resilience and identifies opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation by enabling Cloud. We accelerate our clients towards a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions and Deloitte-developed software products, tools, and accelerators such as the ATASphere workload mobility suite.

Work you'll do

You will be part of a small, yet dynamic team that still retains it's startup roots and culture, while working within the large and powerful umbrella that is Deloitte. We are an agile software team following Scrum best practices. The Next Gen product is being built on a .NET MVC framework using a responsive UI front end, C# back end, and a MySQL DB.

As a .NET Core software developer, you will assist the product development team in building Cloud Migration tools as part of the Application Modernization and Migration team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of working knowledge of building .NET MVC applications and/or .NET Core Applications
• 5+ years of experience with building Web APIs (REST)
• 5+ years of building scripts using Javascript
• 5+ years of C# development expertise
• Experience building responsive Web UI screens using modern tools like Angular (6.0+) / ExtJS / NodeJS
• Demonstrated experience in at least one of the following: Angular, ReactJS, Vue.Js, ASP.NET MVC, jQuery, TypeScript
• Demonstrated experience in Azure, AWS or GCP
• Exposure to test driven design (TDD) or domain driven design (DDD)
• Expertise with relational databases, especially SQL Server and/or MySQL
• Working knowledge of asynchronous programming

• Hands-on experience being part of an Agile team, preferably Scrum
• Experience using a TDD model
• Working knowledge of background asynchronous queuing mechanisms like Rabbit MQ, MSMQ, etc.
• Building web applications that require some level of security access layers and IAM roles
• Experience with any infrastructure/cloud migration tools will be highly preferable
• Experience with Product Management tools like JIRA / Rally / TFS
• Experience with ORM, Entity Framework, NHibernate
• Experience with code repositories like Azure DevOps / BitBucket / SVN / GitHub
• Working knowledge of using CI/CD tools / Building unit tests into core code for better CI/CD
• Ability to work in teams spread across multiple time zones
• Ability to learn new functional domain areas like Cloud Infrastructure and Cloud Migrations
