This is an exciting role in the growing OptumCare Services division within UnitedHealth Group. The Clinical Performance (CP) team within OptumCare Services is charged with establishing controls to maintain compliance, provide strategic insights to our operators, and align risk adjustment activities across the business.
This position will be responsible for supporting and organizing the strategic initiatives related to Risk Adjustment across OptumCare Services. This includes building relationships, facilitating cross-functional programs, supporting in developing leadership presentations, and managing projects that require collaborative work across the team. This "jack of all trades" should demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, bring a curious attitude, and thrive on details.

- Manage daily team operations at varying levels of staff and across multiple functions/departments
- Serve as a go-to resource to resolve issues, provide organization, and general support
- Create and/or tailor project plans to specific use-case and ability to adapt them to meet business needs and changing priorities
- Conduct regular and ad hoc meetings to review and discuss updates, progress, outstanding issues, etc.
- Make presentations to leadership on project updates, progress, etc.
- Proactively recognize and celebrate team contributions to a project

- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
- Experience working across a cross-functional, matrixed team - influencing others and gaining alignment
- Healthcare experience
- Exceptional writing, presentation and speaking skills, with demonstrated experience leading project-focused meetings
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PPT, Teams, Visio, and Outlook
- 5+ years business operations experience, with project management experience
- Risk adjustment experience
- Proven organization skills with ability to work with ambiguity

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
