Position Summary:

The Consultant, Talent & OD is responsible for assisting the execution of a portfolio of leadership development and emotional intelligence initiatives and solutions for leaders across the enterprise. This role will focus primarily on the growth and development of first-level leaders who have newly made the transition from individual contributor to people leader. This role is responsible for managing participant experience, regular production and co-facilitation of leadership development programs, and ongoing communication with stakeholders and leaders. On a daily basis, you will have the opportunity to cultivate fresh perspectives in learning and development and see meaningful results in yourself and others.

The role offers the opportunity to manage development initiatives at scale across the enterprise and requires close collaboration with leadership and human resources partners. The ideal candidate will be passionate and experienced in learning design and evaluation, adult development, and facilitation.

The Consultant will report to the Senior Manager, Talent & OD.

Penske’s corporate offices are located in Reading, PA, 75 miles northwest of Philadelphia. All candidates must be able to travel as necessary based on demands of the role, up to 25% of the time.

Major Responsibilities:

In partnership with the Senior Consultant, Talent & OD and relevant stakeholders, and reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent & OD:

  • Effectively delivers programs as designed and creates and maintains facilitator and participant guides under the supervision of a program manager
  • Supports program manager in program needs assessment and analysis
  • Adapts program modules as necessary to increase relevance, transfer of learning and skill development
  • Supports program delivery across portfolios with program production
  • Accountable for participant tracking and records management in Learning Management Systems
  • Accountable for the scheduling and administration of sessions
  • Other projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Leadership development program facilitation experience required
  • Excellent communication, project and program management skills required
  • Emotional intelligence and leadership development experience is preferred
  • Sincere hunger to learn
