Delivery Excellence Business Liaison Team Member, Enabling Senior Consultant

The Delivery Innovation (DI) Business Liaison Team Member will help manage ~15 Delivery Innovation Hubs across all Offerings in launching and maintaining SmartStarts (the Standards, Methods, Automations, Resourcing, and Tools that should be used on every project).

SmartStart is a one-stop-shop to access U.S. Consulting Offering/Market Offering-specific innovations and best-in-class ways of working that reshape how we sell and deliver projects. SmartStarts improve our day-to-day experiences by removing the guesswork on how activities should be done and incorporating cutting-edge automation and assets to reduce time-consuming, repetitive work.

Work you'll do

Responsibilities include:

  • Plan, manage and deploy quarterly SmartStart releases in collaboration with ~15 Delivery Innovation (DI) Hubs across all Offerings
  • Indirectly lead and influence work completed by DI Hub teams
  • Help set scope and strategy, with input from leadership, to launch SmartStarts in new Offerings
  • Perform quarterly maintenance of the data powering the SmartStart website
  • Plan, manage and deploy future releases of the SmartStart website to incorporate backlog/end-user feedback of UI/UX enhancements or functionality defects
  • Support post-deployment activities that focus on training and adoption
  • Liaise with other teams (within and outside of Delivery Excellence) to drive visibility of SmartStarts and integrate where applicable (e.g. monetization of SmartStarts, automation via SmartForce TM , effort efficiencies in NextGen estimation, integration with the pricing model)

  • Professional with a minimum of 4 - 6 years relevant experience in internal / external client service or internal roles
  • Able to work well in a highly agile, fast-paced environment, comfortable in ambiguous environments
  • Strong executive presence with a track record for working with/advising senior leaders on a wide range of issues; ability to work with senior firm leadership and their teams
  • Superior project management skills and organization; ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously with great attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to draft email communications and develop presentations for executive audiences to communicate, achieve buy-in, and drive action

  • Works well under pressure and highly responsive
  • Demonstrates strong professional judgement; acts in utmost confidentiality with sensitive leadership information, and navigates tough situations effectively and professionally
  • Awareness or experiences with asset-based businesses, automation, and/or change management
