The Job's Mission

The Director, Business Process Owner for Integrated Business Planning (IBP) owns the global process design for Integrated Business Planning for the Accelerate business transformation program which delivers a cross functional ERP solution inclusive of inter-connected EcoSystem applications.

Collaborates with Senior Leaders (VP level) and business process experts in Stryker’s Divisions, Business Functions, Centers of Excellence and geographies with a goal of advancing harmonized business processes that align to our global application roadmap with a bias toward standard functionality.

Works to understand as-is processes, drives acceptance of the Commercial template solution while addressing business requirements for new or evolving capabilities.

Your key responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with Senior Leaders from the Commercial Divisions and COE planning organization, develop a strategy and execution plan to create a standardized end to end integrated planning process for Stryker.
  • Lead analysis with Commercial Divisions, Planning COE and IT to develop a strategic technology roadmap to support all elements of that End-to-End process, which is underpinned by SAP IBP.
  • In collaboration with the Accelerate Change Management group, create an appropriate change management strategy to drive both the technology deployment and the business process changes in the Release organization.
  • Responsible for the achievement of program goals, objectives, and deliverables; specifically, for the timely completion of project activities within their business process area
  • Lead business process design, and accompanying solution design with an IT Solution Lead partner, for assigned area with specific bias toward embracing standard functionality
  • Creates network of SME’s across the Stryker landscape (commercial, shared services, centers of excellence and the Global Quality and Operations (GQO) organizations) to leverage for input, participation in project activities and to engage in change management activities for business process design
  • Drive adoption of to-be business process to align with ERP capabilities and gain alignment with the Stryker divisions, functions, and geographies (commercial, shared services, centers of excellence and the Global Quality and Operations (GQO) organizations)
  • Drive harmonized industry-best practice process across all divisions and geographies allowing minor configurations (as necessary for regulatory or fiscal compliance) with no core customizations
  • Partners with Global Process Governance Owners to ensure the integrity of the global template through enhancement cycles
  • Facilitate rapid decisions and the completion of the Solution Design and Key Configuration Decisions
  • Lead and oversee process workshops
  • Plans and leads all business activities up to the SIT2 cycle including coordination with the Testing COE, and then facilitates a handover to the Business Process Implementation Lead, as applicable, for continuation of subsequent testing and deployment activities
  • Ensure solution meets business requirements, including close collaboration with key business leaders to ensure adoption of new functionality to underpin true business transformation
  • Where appropriate, partner with the change management team to craft a strategy for end user change management, including delivering to users and measuring success
  • Works closely with systems integrator and provides input into the configuration of the system
  • As a data object owner, ensures completeness and accuracy of enterprise master data through conversion or construction activities
  • Where appropriate, drive the creation and delivery of training content
  • Personifies the Accelerate Program Brand internally and externally

What are we looking for?

  • BS, BA in Business Administration, or equivalent
  • Minimum 12+ years of industry experience across multiple process areas and 5+ years of sub-process experience.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with SAP IBP.
  • Knowledge and experience with Organizational Change Management.
  • Deep and broad experience across all sub-processes within the process area, to consider upstream and downstream impacts and implications.
  • Prior experience delivering an ERP including SAP IBP, major business-system, or leading large-scale transformational projects or programs.
  • Leader that collaborates effectively across all Stryker divisions and regions, has strong influence skills and is able to build consensus and drive change.
  • Able to lead and motivate global cross-functional teams.
  • Exhibits acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
  • Ability to think strategically while operating tactically to implement a Global Template solution.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skillsets.
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Aligned with program goals and principles.
