As the Associate Director Business Analysis you will be responsible to leading the HEDIS™ collection team and will be the "Agent of Change". You will bridge the communication gap between the business, external vendors, and development teams. We provide support by analyzing how the requested changes will improve business efficiency. Our team reviews current process flows within our rateLIFT application including the data interchange process between External Sources, Vendors, and UHG. The team provides ongoing support of rateLIFT users and the data flow including but not limited to, automation, enhancements, maintenance, and program preparedness including HEDIS™. We ensure quality and efficiency in the data provided within the rateLIFT application.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze industry trends, HEDIS™ processes, and business needs to meet required documentation
  • Responsible for managing multiple project team in an Agile environment
  • Prioritization of competing requests from business
  • Support the corporate planning process and ad hoc projects for executives, corporate requests and special projects

This role will be telecommute but will work central hours.

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 4 + years of experience leading a team
  • 4+ years of complex project management experience
  • 4+ years of professional MS office experience (Visio, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • 3+ years of experience leading a team of data and business analysts
  • 2+ years of HEDIS™ experience
  • 2+ years of Agile methodology experience
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)

Preferred Qualifcations:

  • Relevant work experience in strategy, management consulting, product or general management in a health care related field
  • Proven history of quickly gaining credibility, partnering with business leaders and exhibiting executive presence
  • Ability to champion continuous change, consult with versatility, exhibit personal leadership and model a customer orientation
  • Ability to effectively drive results in a dynamic, matrixed environment with a high degree of organizational change, growth and ambiguity
  • Superior conceptual, analytical and financial modeling skills

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $97,300 to $176,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
