What you’ll be doing...

Reporting to the CSG Executive Director Strategy & Operations, this position is responsible for managing the team accountable for the global CSG P&L Process, driving Vendor strategy for CSG, establishing operational metrics and dashboards and communications and change management. This position will lead business operations for the CIO in support of the CSG organizational goals, objectives and KPIs.

The Associate Director will support the CSG Executive Director Strategy & Operations in the definition, maintenance and tracking of global strategies. They will implement processes to ensure that the strategies are regularly reviewed and refreshed to ensure that they align to key business and enterprise-wide corporate technology strategies, architectures and priorities. Additionally, they will work with Product Line and Business Technology leaders to ensure that the corporate strategies carry through the overall planning lifecycle, integrating with long-term strategic planning, 3-year capital planning, and annual investment and business planning. As part of the Chief of Staff office, this role will assist the Executive Director in setting leadership team meeting agendas, executing those meetings, driving the committed outcomes,, maintaining the ongoing list of topics and required discussion items are also part of the responsibilities. Lastly, will partner with the CSG team to establish and execute an organizational communications strategy.

  • Manage a team of leaders to deliver Business Enablement capabilities to CSG. This includes multiple teams across geographic locations as well as matrixed leadership for international teams.
  • Validate business case submissions working with Product and Platform teams to ensure completeness, accuracy and a clear path to accountability for results.
  • Ensure that the Technologies also drive cost optimization and standardization across the cross-CIO ecosystem, leading to a platforms-based architecture
  • Establish and lead a team responsible for CSG financial management process driving transparency to overall financial performance vs target at the CSG leader and consolidated level.
  • Lead the team responsible to run and operate a CSG Vendor Strategy ensuring CSG is in alignment with broader GTS standards, process and routines as well as represent CSG unique requirements with the broader GTS organization. Drive visibility and transparency for vendor decisions and performance across the organization.
  • Establish and lead a team responsible for measuring, monitoring and driving action related to CSG performance KPI’s including driving positive change where performance may not meet expectations.
  • Establish and ensure vendor and technology evaluations follow a standardized process incorporating industry best practices, maturity assessment of current and future capabilities, domain expertise from developers and business partners, including a process for RFIs, RFPs
  • Work across the CSG team, as well as the broader GTS organization, to drive continuous process improvement, financial rigor and alignment.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel

Even better if you have:

  • Experience in Portfolio, Program and Operational Management systems.
  • Previous people management experience.
  • Experience leading and managing large programs and projects.
  • Strong strategy management, analytical thinking, problem solving, learning agility, communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working with senior executives to establish and execute an organizational communications strategy.
  • Acumen to handle complex situations and multiple responsibilities in a shared services organization that matrixes across multiple CIOs.
