Professional Development Lead creates and delivers a learning strategy that develops strategic capabilities to enable BMS priorities and the growth and development of the global workforce through a diverse portfolio and learner-centric experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Continue to evolve the Professional Development strategy to enable the development of BMS priority capabilities across our workforce. Work cross-functionally to improve Enterprise Learning delivery and create a valuable Learner Experience that is foundational for our workforce reaching their aspirational career goals. Partner across HR, all business functions and externally to implement innovative learning strategies and technology enabled solutions to inspire a BMS Learners’ journey
Partner with the Learning Council and Procurement to ensure preferred learning partners and technology are utilized across the enterprise for professional skills. Ensure partner materials adhere to BSM development standards. Ensure the digital portfolio adheres to cybersecurity, data privacy and works council guidance. • Insights: Analyze enrollment data and evaluation data to generate insights on programming, partners and skill building opportunities. Derive insights from BU leaders, HRBPs, Market Learning Points and the Learning Council to inform workforce development opportunities. Align content to current priority capability needs and determine content needed for building a ‘future ready’ workforce based on internal and external data.
Based on insights, work globally across the enterprise to advise on learning strategy and innovative approaches to meet the different developmental opportunities across individuals, teams, functions and at scale for the enterprise. Work across G&D to curate and connect learning, materials and information to employee experience and organizational effectives. Partner across other learning organizations and the Learning Council to communicate and connect resources to their work and collaborate on broader recommendations to drive enterprise learner engagement and awareness.
Evaluate different and innovative delivery modalities for learning including ILT, vILT, AI and digital. Coordinate with Learning Council, IT and Works Councils for new partners and technology. Develop communication plans in partnership with corporate communications. Understand and manage learning translation and local law delivery requirements. Manage contracts and relationships with partners. Ensure digital portfolio access. Develop FAQs, knowledge articles and portal content for myBMS. Partner with people services and the logistics team to ensure flawless execution of learning sessions and optimized use of Success Factors.
Develop and successfully execute change management plans as needed for new development programs, technology platforms and enterprise learning work. Partner with Corporate Communications for development of a multi-lever communication strategy for portfolio awareness. Stakeholder management for enterprise learning initiatives and ongoing awareness of G&D portfolio for new and existing employees.
A university degree in relevant discipline is required, and a graduate degree is preferred.
Broad experience in developing and implementing learning strategies and plans required.
Demonstrated success in working effectively across all levels to impact and influence decision making.
Demonstrated experience utilizing data and analytics to drive learning strategy development, process improvement and an enhanced learner experience.
Demonstrated experience leading crossfunctional and enterprise-wide global initiatives
