Job Description

  • Lead the design, build and data-sharing architecture solutions utilizing multiple data sources to produce a single version of core data assets.

  • Manage internal and interfacing architecture and new publications (of shareable data from a source system) to the Enterprise Sharing Area (ESA) and oversee requests for new and modified requests for data access (i.e. subscriptions).

  • Collaborate with Information Stewards and the company’s privacy offices to ensure data privacy requirements are met and data sharing processes adhere to the required SOPs and compliance protocols.

  • Work with the sourcing systems and operations to ensure ongoing data quality.

  • Manage the life cycle of shared data, determining when to publish new datasets to the ESA, when to decommission datasets and providing new architecture enhancements as required.

  • Work with IT Architecture to ensure alignment with the company’s architecture goals and strategies.

  • Work with IT partners in various divisions to ensure appropriate publishing of shareable data globally.

  • Responsible for managing projects related to shareable data, and changes in data from sourcing systems; deliverables of the ESA team consisting of ESA employees and contingent workers; ongoing funding for ESA resources and projects; communications with IT management and downstream consumers of data regarding data changes/minor enhancements/major releases; interfacing with the ESA Operations area to ensure consistent, effective support for ESA architecture and implemented subscriptions; publishing new publications in data governance tools, managing subscriptions to data, and ensuring data quality; and ensuring current, available metadata of ESA data.

Requirements:

  • Must have Bachelor's Degree (or U.S. equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related field.

  • Must be a result-oriented IT professional with at least 10 years experience working with shared data for a global organization.

  • Must have experience in: managing regulated systems such as Sarbanes-Oxley compliant systems; using Oracle database, Informatica ETL Tool, Unix/Linux and SQL/PLSQL programming language; managing teams of onsite and offsite developers and in coaching less experienced team members; and in supporting complex / critical enterprise-wide information systems.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing and enhancing Enterprise Data Repositories; and implementation experience that include end-to-end management of estimation, system requirements, delivery, testing and cutover activities also required.

  • Must possess demonstrated focus on strong client relationships (technical and business community) and architectural maturity; strong working knowledge of HR data and data privacy requirements; and exposure to Agile Methodology and SDLC documentation principles and practice.

  • Telecommuting permitted.

  • 40 hours per week: M-F – 9am-5pm.

  • Must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States.
