What you’ll be doing...

The primary purpose of the role is to create the strategy for the SI Joint GTM partnership and to create the SI joint GTM solution deliverables. These solutions will accelerate growth and adoption of Verizon private networks, 5G, FWA, MEC, and NaaS.

In this role, you will work alongside the SI partner’s industry practice and thought leaders to ideate and develop a portfolio of joint solutions to be brought to market over short, mid and long term time horizons.

You will be responsible for driving the creation of value propositions, collaboration plans, reference architecture and collateral necessary to validate joint solution concepts with targeted clients. You will leverage a defined co-innovation framework used to materialize joint solutions that create disruptive value for enterprise clients in targeted industries as well as clear value for both Verizon and SI partners.

  • Responsible for defining the partnering strategy and the value propositions for Verizon, the System Integrator and the customer.
  • Aligning partnership strategy, market strengths and GTM focus with those of Verizon to create high-value solutions that solve critical end-customer business challenges.
  • Creating co-innovation deliverables such as collaboration plan, executive summaries, solution reference architecture, and GTM materials.
  • Bring various business functions and different levels of management together to ideate, develop and bring joint solutions to market.
  • Developing an alliance business plan, including revenue projections and metrics, with key Verizon and partner stakeholder groups.
  • Supporting contractual agreement activities required to support the alliance partnership, solution development, and GTM initiatives.
  • Closely collaborating with marketing on all collateral, sales, and marketing plans required to support each co-innovation initiative.
  • Overseeing co-innovation governance- formal cadence between executive sponsors and key stakeholders to advance initiatives, remove roadblocks and drive growth.
  • Preparing executive briefing and EBC materials.

Where you’ll be working:

NY/NJ/CA/CO are the preferred locations but are not necessary. This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Understanding of strategy, technology, and industry knowledge to solve complex business challenges.
  • Willingness to travel to necessary meetings, conferences, and industry events.
  • A valid driver’s license.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree.
  • Fundamental understanding of ERP and OT applications
  • Six or more years of proven business development / alliance management experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of sales success.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver impactful presentations to executive stakeholders.
  • Proven business acumen with experience producing sound business cases with compelling financial argument to support investment requests.
  • Creative, fast learner, strategic thinker, organized, strong business acumen and outstanding presentation capabilities/skills.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit or background.
  • Strong communication skills, adept at influencing internal and partner stakeholders to take action and seize market opportunities.
  • Sales and technical prowess – the ability to educate both Verizon and partner teams about the partnership, value prop, solutions, sales successes and how to engage.
  • Technical competency in wireless and wireline network solutions (e.g., Private Networks, Edge/MEC, IoT, security, cloud, AI/ML, analytics solutions).
  • Solution design expertise surrounding integration strategies, reference architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution using best practices.
  • Ability to identify and prioritize new business opportunities to grow sales funnel and win business.
