Summary of Position/Resumen del Puesto

The Business Practice Steward will provide operational support to the Business Practices Officer. As the Steward, he/she will work cross-functionally to ensure alignment within all business areas of our Compliance framework and perform all monitoring activities to ensure effective implementation.

Major Activities and Responsibilities/Actividades Principales y Responsabilidades

  • Supporting the Business Practices Manager in daily activities to implement Organon compliance frameworks for local business organizations (Policies, SOPs and Guidance)
  • Support the completion of the risk assessments processes
  • Assist with coordination during audits and support the completion of action items.
  • Support the BPM to ensure consistent and effective compliance standards are in place in the organization
  • Supporting the implementation of tracking /monitoring systems (e.g. Pulse, Archer)
  • Support Transparency reporting
  • Facilitating and coordinating the Country Grants and Donations Committee
  • Supporting with regular audits for HCP interactions
  • Supporting preparation of local training sessions on new and revised policies, processes and procedures, making sure that attendance sheets for such trainings are tracked and stored appropriately

Qualifications/Qualificaciones

  • General awareness in compliance rules, Organon policies and SOPs
  • Good understanding of pharmaceutical companies’ infrastructure and processes
  • General awareness of activities that are subject to mandatory disclosure between pharmaceutical companies and HCPs/HCOs
  • Familiarity with compliance guidelines and data protection legislation
  • Having high ethical standards, and personal integrity
  • Proven ability to develop cooperative professional relationships within the organization
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Language – Must be fluent in English and Spanish

Background Requirements/Qualificaciones Requeridas:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Master´s Degree desired
  • 1-2 years of Audit, Finance, Compliance, Legal, or comparable business experience in healthcare industry.
