What you will do:

The Associate Manager, Sales Development is responsible for building and leading a high performing Sales Development Team. This individual will lead this group and their efforts in support of the Stryker Emergency Care business to drive new revenue each day. This role offers an opportunity to directly influence company success and grow professionally within the organization.

  • Lead a team of Sales Development Representatives to drive growth of Stryker’s ProCare service and Data Solution offerings for the Emergency Care organization.
  • Drive efficiencies for our customers by leading processes that unify billing of our service and data solutions contracts.
  • Increase market share by creating and incentivizing programs which capitalize on point of sale, warranty conversions, and renewals when it comes to our service and solution offerings.
  • Strategically align with sales leaders to identify customer-centric opportunities to focus on which ensures collective success.
  • Improve the customer experience with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create and monitor performance metrics of the team to assure performance is consistent with objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Sales Leaderships teams in the creation of strategic plans for promotions and specific geographic alignment activities across both PRT and EC business units.
  • Work with sales leadership and individual account managers to identify key segments, accounts, and territories.
  • Ensure SDRs continually improve performance by providing coaching and feedback in re-occurring individual meetings and team trainings.
  • Assure that lead and contact database(s) are utilized to their maximum potential to generate sales and qualify selling opportunities.
  • Assist with the identification of productivity enhancing software applications. Be an expert in the technologies.
  • Actively participates in the continuous improvement of departmental processes and supports and demonstrates commitment to quality principles.
  • Track and report attachment rate, renewal, and overall growth metrics on a monthly and quarterly Leverage internal reporting tools to drive team focus and to track penetration of service and solution products monthly.
  • Ability and willingness to perform sales calls as a “lead by example” manager.
  • Ensure collaboration across multiple selling business units and maintain alignment with the broader EC vision and goals.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge base of company products.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of six years sales experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven success in leading a high performing sales team
  • In-depth understanding of strategic sales campaign planning
  • Ability to execute sales strategies in a complex and multi-faceted environment
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, judgment skills
  • Ability to present to Sr. Leadership and in turn cascade and integrate organizational objectives into team goals
  • Experience with CRM software (Salesforce preferred)
  • Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, or equivalent
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Products
  • Experience in the Medical Device Industry
  • Experience working with various levels of management
  • Ability to work with internal marketing teams to organize and develop specific promotional ideas to drive specific category growth
  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment and problem solve quickly when new challenges rise with the lead generation team
  • Ability to multi-task in a numbers-driven, highly process oriented environment
  • Experience in territory alignment and sales compensation strategy to incentivize desired organizational goals
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; proven selling, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Teamwork and interpersonal skills with emphasis on being a self-starter.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and teach the team how to improve performance and achieve long term success.

Travel requirement:

  • Approximately 15% travel.
