Work you'll do

Searching for a top secret cleared team lead over an agile business intelligence and reporting team. The team lead will work closely with the client team and development team to combine domain and business knowledge with requirements to inform technical delivery. Working with cross-functional teams, the team will participate in gathering and documenting requirements, testing reports, and building/developing reports to meet business needs. Candidates should have an understanding of Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse concepts and end-to-end project management (design through development). They should have a proven ability to build client relationships and manage team day-to-day delivery. Comfort and experience with SQL, a data visualization tool (e.g. MicroStrategy, Tableau, Qlik), testing, documenting requirements, and agile methods is encouraged.

The GPS Analytics and Cognitive (A&C) offering is responsible for developing advanced analytics products and applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data in order to advance and enable the key mission outcomes for our clients. Our team supports all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL, and from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to delivery insights to decision-makers. Our practitioners give special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Top Secret Clearance required
  • 5+ years of professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL, Data analysis and business recommendations, working with key stakeholders/clients, and working with customers/business owners for gathering/developing requirements.


Preferred:

  • Data analytics, user facing dashboard design
  • Analysis, reporting, visualization - reports, dashboarding
  • Technical experience with Excel and PowerPoint
  • ETL concepts and data warehouse/relational database concepts (I.e., understanding/exposure)
  • Functional data, performance, system, security requirements (I.e., types of business requirements)
