As a Sr. Specialist, Data Visualization, Oncology Business Value Delivery, you will design and play a key role in the development of high-quality, compelling data visualization products to drive programmatic decision making, learning and adaptation for the Oncology Business Unit. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand user needs, develop use cases and produce clear and compelling data products that transform data into interactive and dynamic visualizations that convey actionable insights, demonstrate results, and communicate analytical findings. You will create understanding and empathy around user needs, stated and unstated, for the Human Health Commercial Analytics team.
Responsibilities:
Creating analytical tools that enable users to assess progress vs KPIs as well as to answer critical business questions for the Oncology business unit.
Managing project timelines to enable accurate reporting and functionality during enterprise system transformations
Managing diverse projects and processes within Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams
Championing data quality, integrity and reliability throughout the department by designing and promoting best practices
Leading business requirement sessions with stakeholders
Coordinating with IT/vendor on business requirements for new reporting needs that support field sales and HQ teams
Testing and deploying new capabilities using BI applications
Creating new visualizations to enable informed business decisions on strategy and execution
Managing vendor relationships, ensuring business requirements are clearly articulated and executed
Providing BI training to stakeholders to foster increased understanding and utilization of the information provided
Experience and skills:
3-5 years’ experience delivering business intelligence solutions
3-5 years working experience in Qlik / PowerBI /and other data visualization technologies
Experience in Pharma and or Biotech Industry is a plus.
Proven analytics and problem-solving skills
Strong presentation and collaboration skills and can communicate all aspects of the job requirements
Effective communication skills with an ability to process technical information and translate clearly and concisely to broad audiences
Strong judgment, prioritization, and decision-making skills, with understanding of broader context for Oncology Business Unit
Innovative thinking, with affinity toward experimentation and appropriate risk taking
Strong understanding of all compliance-related concepts, including the laws, regulations and policies that govern pharmaceutical marketing and sales activities
Leveraging and managing third party vendors and contractors.
Self-motivation, proactivity, and ability to work independently with minimum direction
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills, with ability to navigate a complex matrix environment and organize/prioritize work efficiently and effectively.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and lead with diverse groups of work colleagues and positively manage ambiguity.
