Eatons Power Systems division is currently seeking a RotationalEngineering Program Participant to join our team. This position is based at ourWaukesha, Pewaukee, South Milwaukee and/or Franksville, WI facilities.Relocation assistance will be provided.Position Overview:The Rotational Engineering Program Participant willcomplete 4 rotations through various product lines and functions withinEngineering.This rotational program is designed to give theparticipant a firm grasp of the engineering function and a holistic view of ourtechnology-driven solutions that serve our wide range of customers.The candidate will be placed into assignments that bestmatches their skillset and development focus. Different opportunities includebut are not limited to: Testing, Product Line Support, Design, VAVE, andQuality. The candidate will have exposure to Materials, Electrical, Mechanical,and Electro-Mechanical, disciplines; also access to state of the artlaboratories and on-site mentoring.Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion ofevery employee around the world. Its where bold,bright professionals like you can reach your full potentialand where you canhelp us reach ours.In this function you will:+ Develop sub-system verification tests whichincludes defining test methods and procedures and designing and developingcustom fixtures.+ Assist with performing mechanical,electrical, and environmental testing.+ Collaborate with global design andmanufacturing teams.+ Develop, improve, and sustain product designand product definition data (3D models, drawings, bills of materials, product& material specifications).+ Learn and perform engineering analysis anddigital simulation leveraging advanced tools (CAD, FEA, statistical toleranceanalysis, computational analysis Matlab, etc.).+ Learn and utilize design techniques to drivedesign optimization in cost, manufacturing and assembly, six sigma, etc.+ Set aggressive goals, measure performance,and strive to go beyond what is expected.+ Support production and manufacturingengineering including prototype and pilot builds.When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives andbackgrounds that make each of us unique, we as individuals and as a company are stronger.QualificationsRequired (Basic) Qualifications:+ Bachelors degree in Engineering from an accredited institution or currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree in Engineering program with a graduation date no later than May 2021 from an accredited institution+ Minimum 2.8 GPA. Please do not round.+ Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the futurePreferred qualifications:+ Masters Degree in Engineering+ Prior Co-Op or Internship experience+ Experience using 3D CAD software+ Power-electrical and mechanical experiencePosition Criteria:+ Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.+ Ability to work in a matrix environment, get results and drive change through others.+ Effective oral and written communication skills as well as planning and organizational skills.+ Ability to manage by influence through solid relationships and process focus+ Ability to effectively present results and recommendations to senior-level executive team.We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
