Temporary Talent Workforce Lead Specialist, Learning and Development (8 months - temporary role)

Our team is experiencing high growth and we are looking for professionals with a mix of L&D and project management experience to join us!

Work you'll do

Within our Development Center of Excellence, you will actively participate in projects focused on aligning learning and development solutions with business priorities. You will be part of the Leader Essentials team, working to design and maintain various Leader Development-oriented training programs for Deloitte leaders at all levels. The Leader Essentials portfolio includes the following topic areas: Communications, Executive Presence, Influence, Negotiations, Performance, and Productivity. Responsibilities may include:

  • Plan, execute and operationalize development programs and processes - including program calendar coordination and management, vendor management, and communications templates creation and maintenance
  • Develop and review deliverables for accuracy and quality
  • Assist in the creation, development, and maintenance of various learning programs and training experiences, to help Deloitte personnel develop the capabilities and knowledge needed to grow at Deloitte
  • Participate in or lead learning project teams to build positive, collaborative partnerships among business stakeholders, SMEs and peers
  • Use critical thinking skills to identify, research, conduct data analysis, and recommend solutions to complex problems
  • Role is temporary, preferred dates: On or around December 1, 2021 through on or around August 5, 2022.

We strive to position our people to help tackle some of the most complex issues in business, our communities and society at large.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 4-6 years of related professional experience
  • Demonstrated project and program management experience: organization, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to communicate effectively and credibly, both verbally and in writing, with audiences at all management levels
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, complex, multi-tasking virtual environment
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills
  • Travel up to 20% (While 20% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future


Preferred:

  • Experience working in a learning and development organization
  • Prior consulting or professional services experience
