Work you'll do

As a Specialist Leader at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for leading large complex IT systems - these applications are often high-volume mission critical systems and would provide you an exposure to a broad range of technologies across all Cloud and on prem systems. As a leader, you will bring considerable consulting, project management, business process and technology expertise to our clients. You'll lead and manage work threads across one or more engagement teams to create solutions to help our clients solve problems, expand market share, improve operations, and grow their business with specific experience around Agile transformation.

1. Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define project approach (Agile vs. traditional) as well as deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from client leadership; direct on-time quality and delivery of work; manage engagement economics and risk.

2. Provide hands-on project management and support for multiple projects across functional and technical units utilizing PMO standard tools, processes, and methods.

3. Expected to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced environment, employing strong relationship management, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.

4. With some amount of Deloitte Leadership supervision, this person will manage the aspects of SDLC and Project Delivery Process for projects and programs that range in scope, budget, and team size to the level of large projects, involving medium to high levels of risk and complexity.

5. Identify and manage cross-dependencies, proactively present to Portfolio Managers and resolve issues and risks and impacts.

6. Manage day-to-day interactions with clients and sponsors;

7. Manage client relationships and work with business partners to address their business needs;

8. Participate in and lead aspects of the proposal development process;
