The Development Data Governance Product focuses on the following key capabilities within the Data Governance framework: Security/Access Management, Data Quality Management, Data Cataloging, Reference & Master Data Management, Metadata Management, and Demand Management. The success of these capabilities will ensure the company data is safeguarded, accessible, controlled, trusted, and available.

This is a partnership heavy role. As a member of the product team, you will partner closely with teams across our Company’s IT and business organizations. Through the consulting and hands-on nature of our team, you will contribute to a variety of products and technologies, depending on partner needs.

The Delivery Orchestrator is responsible for coordinating and tracking activities across and within the product to ensure overall delivery of value in alignment with the company, division, value team, and product line objectives. Key activities include and not limit to helping team effectively make and meet commitments and execute in a tactical and coordinated way as well as creating early visibility and management of risks, impediments, dependencies, and assumptions to enable the team to increase predictability, manage expectations, and optimize capacity.

Key tasks:

  • Works with the Business Technology Partner, Product Line Leaders and Architects to deconstruct higher level outcomes into Product backlog

  • Ensures effective orchestration and alignment

  • Ensures solution decisions are in alignment with the strategy and value team outcomes

  • Provides escalation point for delivery issues or deconflicting dependencies that affect multiple teams across

  • Captures, conveys, and manages risks, impediments, assumptions, and dependencies for execution, and focuses on reducing impact early and often

  • Stay abreast on Enterprise data governance related capabilities and processes

  • Assist with product backlog maintenance and prioritization

  • Develop metrics to track Product progression and successes

  • Participate and lead Agile Way of Working through Scrum

  • Coordinate and manage cross-functional initiatives

  • Analyze and Identify areas for continuous improvements

Education Minimum:

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience

  • Preferred: Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in relevant technical or scientific discipline.

Qualifications:

  • The candidate should have 2+ years of Information Technology experience in the areas of orchestrating complex overlapping priorities and roadmaps, strong communication skills with ability to align team & stakeholders on complex roadmaps, history of coordinating/aligning overlapping priorities within a Product backlog, experience in different delivery methods (agile, traditional) in large organizations, Scrum, data management, and process management.

  • A strong understanding of data governance concepts, principles, and best practices is a plus.

Preferred:

  • Prior 1 year of pharmaceutical related experience is desirable.

  • Skills in process management, program management, and system development management are preferred.

  • Strong ability to work independently and a demonstrated ability to succeed in a dynamic and complex team environment are preferred.

  • Experience with creating and managing content in tools such as SharePoint, JIRA, and Confluence is preferred.

Expected salary range:

$72,200.00 - $122,900.00
