Job Description:

The Leidos C4ISR Mission Solutions Division is looking for a Development Lead for a software replacement program to support the Space Systems Center in Colorado Springs, CO. Primary Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and coordinate with Leidos and subcontractor software developers to identify, develop and execute increment and sprint cycles to replace antiquated software with modern language capabilities
  • Provide development lead support to multiple programs across the C4ISR portfolio
  • Synchronize engineering, logistics, cybersecurity, change and configuration processes to support the overall development timeline
  • Lead troubleshooting, bug-fix and regression testing in support of software deployment to ensure system suitability for operational use
  • Coordinate all cybersecurity activities and requirements in support of software releases and sprints
  • Align development testing activities with the Government and third-party contractor validated requirements and any revisions
  • Work with development teams to troubleshoot complex application coding problems to resolution
  • Provide software testing results to Government and third-party contractors or stakeholders as required
  • Manage peer reviews of artifacts produced as a requirement in an increment
  • Identify, track, resolve and report software or program management issues and/or risks
  • Support implementation preparation for a trial period, Sufficiency of Operational Test Review (SOTR), Operational User Evaluation (OUE), or Full Development Evaluation (FDE)
  • Coordinate with sites, Government and third-party contractors to support installation of software artifacts using the Software Version Description / Software Installation Plan / Site Preparation Requirements and Installation Plan procedures
  • Work with the scheduler to develop and maintain a software development and testing schedule that describes incremental and/or sprint capability deliveries using agile practices
  • Lead an Increment Completion Meetings with the Government
  • Actively participate in Sprint Planning Meetings at the beginning of every sprint following completion of the previous sprint review

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s with 12 years of experience or master’s with 10 years of experience; additional years of directly applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
  • Currently possess a Secret clearance
  • Experience with multiple software languages: Linux, Sequel, Java, Java runtime, JRE, C++
  • Extensive experience working with development teams in creating automated testing and conducting software testing
  • Experience with missile warning and missile warning defense

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in associated field
  • Excellent project, technical, interpersonal, presentation and problem management skills
  • Ability to communicate orally, and in writing, detailed technical information on troubleshooting and implementation efforts

Past experience in Command and Control Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC), Global Data Integration (GDI), Space Defense, space object tracking, or other key missile defense programs or areas

Pay Range:

Pay Range $113,100.00 - $174,000.00 - $234,900.00
