What you’ll be doing...

We are looking for an Engineer to serveas a Lead Architect in our Front Line Experience technical organization to develop innovative solutions and support mission critical applications such as Optix and Smart Leads. This team enables the FiOS and 5G Home Sales to drive revenue growth, service efficiencies, and unlock new customer experiences across channels such as Call center, door to door. This group does this by creating and collaborating deeply with GTS Business group, Customer Service, Digital and Product Marketing teams.

  • Work as a technical lead. Take ownership of issues and drive them to resolution.
  • Solve deep technical problems and build innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment working with smart and passionate team members
  • Work with other Engineers in planning, prioritizing and executing assigned tasks within deadlines.
  • Provide architecture guidance to build new system capabilities
  • Collaborate with multiple teams across the organization to build scalable and robust systems and provide the best customer experience for our front line agents.
  • Collaborate and work with other business stakeholders to analyze new requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance in software design and development activities.
  • Participate in design reviews and recommend improvements.
  • Provide training to and mentor other Engineers.
  • Assist in risk assessment and mitigation activities.
  • Attend team meetings to communicate project status and discuss new ideas and any issues.
  • Recommend new technologies to ensure quality and productivity.
  • Assist in technical audits and make sure to implement audit recommendations.
  • Make business presentations to management
  • Work with the QA team in preparing test cases, plans and procedures

Where you'll be working...

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience building Web applications usingASP.NETMVC, C#.NET,ASP.NETWEB APIs,ADO.NET/EntityFramework targeting .NET Framework, .Net Core.
  • Experience building responsive rich UIs using various frontend frameworks and libraries such as Jquery, Angular, React etc.
  • Experience in developing WCF, Soap based Web Services and REST webapi services.
  • Experience in database designing/architecture with SQL Server, writing database queries, using joins, indexes, views, stored procedures, triggers, normalization, T-SQL, and query optimization techniques.
  • Experience with developing mobile apps using IONIC framework
  • Experience working as a technical lead
  • Experience in performance tuning web applications and understanding Chrome profiler logs
  • Experience with Elastisearch, Kibana or similar.
