Chubb Associate Program-N.A. Property & Inland Marine

We are looking for those individuals interested in a career that helps people by providing protection to an insured’s assets, assisting in financial recovery of our customers and mitigating unexpected risks through insurance. We’re seeking candidates with bachelor’s degrees to join our Chubb Associate Program with a focus on the North America Property & Inland Marine product disciplines in our Alpharetta, GA, Chicago, IL & New York, NY underwriting hubs. Future assignments & placement after completion of the program will depend on the needs of business units & may require relocation outside of the noted underwriting hubs.

Candidates will initially be hired and placed in one of four North America Property & Inland Marine business units within our Major Account & Westchester divisions with a unique opportunity over the two-year program period to experience four to five (4-5) month rotational assignments in all four units. The units where the rotational assignments will take place include Westchester Property, Westchester Inland Marine, Major Accounts Property & Major Accounts Inland Marine.

By joining the Chubb Associate Program, you will be part of an experience that supports the well-rounded development of critical business skills which in turn contributes to the future success of our company. Our two-year program is designed to include hands-on business assignments on a rotational basis in one of the four noted a North America Property & Inland Maine disciplines, interactive classroom & virtual learning instruction in conjunction with our newly formed Property University, team assignments and direct interaction with other early career professionals as well as experienced professionals and engaged leaders. As part of this program you will experience:

  • Challenging assignments and the opportunity to contribute to the results of a team
  • Collaborative in person and virtual learning, group assignments with program members to help gain broader organizational understanding;
  • Specialized Property & Inland Marine technical training to deepen your skill level by attending our Property University with other program members in combination with rotational assignments within a variety of North America Property & Inland Marine product disciplines; and an understanding of our broader industry;
  • Direct access to product line leadership & instructors in addition to members of our underwriting teams
  • Broad underwriting knowledge across various North America Property & Inland Marine products & services
  • Interpersonal effectiveness skill development to help you enhance communication and interactive skills;
  • Executive engagement allowing program members the opportunity to network and learn from Chubb’s thought leaders;
  • Peer mentoring support to help members navigate through professional situations in their early development;
  • A pathway to leadership development opportunities and potential of global assignments

These positions are planned to start on January 10, 2022.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in many majors will be considered
  • Strong GPA; 3.3 or higher preferred
  • Prior work experience (including summer or part time roles) or internships preferred
  • Leadership experience through work or involvement in community service, athletics, clubs, or other activities preferred
  • Technically adept/digitally savvy
