What you will do:

The Administrative Assistant, GQO Legal and Compliance—reports directly to VP, GQO Legal, and supports the GQO Legal and Compliance team members located across the globe. This individual will be responsible for administrative support, systems and record maintenance, and coordination of team meetings and activities for a global team, collaborating across functions as necessary. This individual will play a key role in maintaining team connectedness and engagement helping the team to function efficiently and at a high level.

  • Maintaining expertise in systems that are frequently used by the GQO Legal and Compliance teams, including: Coupa, Concur, MyHR, and iCertis.
  • Managing calendars and processing correspondence (letters, reports), distribution of mail
  • Coordinating travel arrangements for GQO Legal and Compliance team members, including: Work Visas through CIBT, Embassies, at country border where relevant; Ground - transfers, rental cars; Air - international and domestic; Accommodation; Supporting the team with emergency travel arrangements and BCD Travel agency inquiries
  • Organizing, submitting, and tracking expense reports for GQO Legal and Compliance teams
  • Coordinating with other support staff including the Administrative Assistants to Global Quality and Operations leadership and other Legal and Compliance teams
  • Coordinating communications and scheduling meetings with external advisors.
  • Designing look and feel of presentations and reports authored by the GQO Legal and Compliance teams and ensuring that they comply with Stryker's brand requirements
  • Coordinating purchase of office materials and supplies
  • Preparing budgets and cost reports for team meetings
  • Scheduling off-site meetings and coordinating calendars with other administrative support staff, booking venues and refreshments, assist with the distribution of meeting agendas, minutes for the GQO Legal and Compliance teams.
  • Scheduling meetings and distributing meeting agendas and minutes for the GQO Legal and Compliance teams
  • Coordinating corporate membership and payment of bar dues
  • Preparation (printing, collating and shipping) of training materials and coordination of facility, attendees, and presenter information
  • Perform related work as assigned by senior members of the GQO Legal and Compliance teams
  • Can be responsible for specific projects related to legal initiatives

What you need:

  • High school diploma is required
  • Associates' degree Is highly desirable higher preferred
  • Advanced computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Teams

Visio, Word, along with SharePoint, Skype, and Webex

  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • 2+ years of professional experience required.
  • Possesses and practically applies knowledge, skills and abilities across scope of responsibilities
  • Experience in a corporate environment
  • Work of low to moderate complexity is completed in a timely and thorough manner and under the instruction of management
  • Basic understanding of budgets and expense management
  • Must be able to communicate with large groups of people in person and telephonically.
  • Must be able to review handwritten and printed materials.
