The Department of Children and Families (DCF) is seeking qualified individuals to fill Clerk Typist positions located throughout the State of New Jersey.

SPECIAL NOTE: This position may be eligible to work remotely for up to two days in a calendar week.
Under supervision, types and also performs routine, repetitive, clerical work of a varied nature; does other related duties as required.
The Civil Service Commission (CSC) requires a five-minute qualifying typing test (scored on a pass/fail basis with 25 net words per minute as passing) to be scheduled or administered during the interview process. If you have successfully passed a typing test administered by the CSC or an approved representative of the CSC, please attach a copy of the results with your resume.

LICENSE: Appointees are required to possess a driver’s license valid in New Jersey to perform the essential functions of the position.

SALARY RANGE: $30,227.90 - $41,848.79
STARTING SALARY: $30,227.90 - $34,101.53 based on experience.
