Job Description:

The Leidos Civil Group is seeking a dynamic Terminal Construction Office Specialist to join the National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC I) team.

The position will be supporting the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Eastern Service Area (ESA) NISC support team with the goal of providing outstanding customer service to the FAA. Support requirements shall include but not limited to data management, importing and exporting data to spreadsheets, maintaining and tracking project reports, managing project submittals, and preparation, tracking, or management of various other ad hoc project documents and items.

Additionally, the candidate will implement the document control system to maintain and manage construction drawings, red/blue line corrections, Requests for Information (RFI), change orders and use common database systems (Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word and Excel, and other application software) to update or check data, prepare RFP’s, closeouts, or other reports.

The candidate will review and maintain credit card statements including inputting accounting strings on statements and preparing authorization forms and approvals. Arrange general project related tasks as required such as meeting coordination, setup of phone-bridges, training, scheduling, and other tasks. The candidate will participate in meetings and teleconferences as required. Attendance at weekly status meetings with Contractor and local FAA personnel will be required.

Typically requires High School diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of prior relevant experience.

Basic Qualifications:

Provides organized documentation, and has an awareness of general documentation systems. Outstanding organizational skills a must.

Computer Applications: Capable of applying MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, database management applications (KSN), and knows how to use the Internet as a data gathering and communicating tool.

Communications: Must accomplish clear and concise general and technical writing, prepare and conduct effective technical presentations, provide thorough project monitoring and reporting, and tactfully coordinate with a variety of project stake holders, peers and management levels.

Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.

Experience in a construction environment a plus.
