Job Summary

Amentum has an immediate opening supporting our Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) customer. If your background/experience has included providing electrical maintenance, and troubleshooting support to any of the following submarine systems: Oxygen Generators, Secondary Propulsion Motors, Ships Service Turbine generators, Depth Control Systems, Motor Controllers and all other Submarine Electrical Systems and Auxiliary equipment, then you may be the right fit for a position with our company:
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide Technical assistance in the troubleshooting and repair of submarine electrical systems, and equipment.
- Restore, replace faulty or defective components
- Conduct fault analysis
- Evaluate, assess, and provide maintenance training to Ship's Force
- Provide Total Ship's Readiness Assessments, operational , and maintenance assessment support
- Provide over the shoulder training to Ship's Force
- Complete required reports, and assist with drafting naval messages.
- Attend meetings and conferences as required.
Minimum Requirements
- General Experience: Five (5) years of full time technical experience in the design, installation, test and/or repair of electrical systems/equipment.
- Specialized Experience: Three (3) years of full time engineering experience in the operation, maintenance, installation, test and/or repair of submarine electrical and electronic systems/equipment.
- Experience in evaluating material condition of ship systems and implementing corrective actions.
- US Citizenship Required.
- Active secret clearance Required.
