Electrician FIRST Shift

Eatons Electrical Crouse-Hinds division is currently seeing a 1st shift Industrial Electrician to join our team. This position is based at our Syracuse, New York facility and the rate is $29.42.The Industrial Electrician is responsible for planning, layout and performing all operations pertaining to the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of complicated electrical equipment and circuits used in various plant departments, powerhouse, and offices such as special automatic controls, electronic controls, generating equipment, and large switchboards.Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. Its where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potentialand where you can help us reach ours.In this function you will:+ Tear down complicated units, determine extent of troubles, repair or replace defective parts or wiring and reassemble.+ Diagnose machine sequence and troubleshoot PLC input/outputs+ Install and wire motors for large machine tools such as floor type boring mills, intricate motor controls with multiple inter-locking and safety devices+ Maintain and repair electric and electronic controls including all necessary cleaning and adjusting+ Work from schematic drawings, manuals and testing procedures. Perform a variety of similar or associated duties as required or directed.+ Detect and report all defective materials or faulty operations; diagnose and remedy unusual troubles.+ Wiring diagrams when necessary to facilitate work, after installation for permanent records or for changes to existing diagrams or drawings brought about by on-the-job conditions.+ Maintain all types of Electrical distribution equipment (including motors, generators and complicated apparatus)When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we as individuals and as a company are stronger. QualificationsRequired (Basic)Qualifications:+ Must have a high school diploma orequivalent from an accredited institution+ Journeymen Electricianor six (6) years of documented experience as an industrial/operations/militaryelectrician+ Must be able to work in the United Stateswithout corporate sponsorship now and within the future+ No relocation benefit is being offered forthis position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Syracuse,NY will be considered.
