Pre-Engineered Building & Structural Steel Installer

The employee will be required to assist the foreman and crew with various tasks throughout the day. Job Description:
-Working at heights above ground level
-Rigging and connecting steel members
-Installing wall and roof panels with miscellaneous trim work
-Installing insulation at Walls & Roof
-Operating equipment such as; forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
-Work with power & hand tools.
Minimum Requirements:
-Pass the required screening
-Available to travel, with the possibility of staying out of town (Mon. - Fri.)
-Report ON TIME to assigned jobsite
-Able to use and read a tape measure correctly
-Must follow all safety rules and regulations pertaining to work being performed
-Welding and mechanical experience (preferred)
Person Specifications:
-Must be organized; and able to work safely in a clean work environment
-Communicate effectively both written and orally
-Must be a self-starter and well-motivated
-Comfortable working at various heights exceeding 20 feet
-Be able to work with others in a team environment
-Willing to train new hires without any metal building experience
Physical Requirements:
-Must be able to lift 75 pounds
Schedule for this position: Hours vary, Monday – Friday (8-10 hours) with the possibility of Saturdays when needed.
