Description

Matrix Construction Services is a General, Plumbing, and Electrical Contractor specializing in all phases of interior and exterior repairs and renovations for owners and managers of Multi-Family Communities. We are looking for a Renovation Technician to fill an opening in Dallas-Ft. Worth Immediately. The Renovation Technician completes various physical labor tasks in support of workers on a project/job site and as directed by the Renovation Manager. Tasks must be completed within scheduled timeframes and to the quality standards set forth by company/client expectations.

Core Responsibilities:

Demolition, installation, and make-ready of apartment units while always keeping your workspace clean.

Completes unit build backs, which may include structural reconstructs, installing plumbing fixtures and accessories, painting and installing backsplash, installing electrical/lighting fixtures and ceiling fans, and installing countertops, cabinets, and/or cabinets doors/drawer fronts, installing appliances and other build back duties as assigned.

Learns and performs unit demolitions, as part of a team. Unit demolitions may include structural teardowns, removal of plumbing/electrical/lighting fixtures, removal of countertops, backsplash, cabinets and/or cabinet door/drawer fronts, removal of appliances, and other demolition duties as assigned.

Maintains regular contact with the Renovation Manager to ensure project tasks are being completed timely and in accordance with client/company standards.

Ability to travel locally, as needed, between multiple job sites.

Ensures quality control meets company and client expectations.

Submits daily reports of progress made on the project/job site to the Renovation Manager & Director of Operations.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid drivers’ license and reliable means of transportation
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Previous experience in the Multi-Family Construction industry or Renovation Construction is preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
