Industrial Maintenance Technician (3rd)

Eaton’s Electrical sector is currently seeking 3rd shift Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position will be based at our Lincoln, IL facility.

Plan, layout, install and maintain, program and troubleshoot electrical and electronic controls and equipment, including PLCs and motion control devices
Work from complicated drawings, specifications or wiring diagrams and have hands-on knowledge of electricity and electronics
Work without drawings and create such drawings when necessary for project work
Keep current with developments in their respective field
Direct the work of helpers, instruct plant emergency squad members and operate a power truck

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Five (5) years' industrial maintenance experience
- Three (3) years experience with PLC's and programming in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
- Completion of an apprenticeship program
- Further education in the electronics field
