We are seeking a Growth and Improvement minded Senior Calibration Maintenance Technician that can help drive our Strategic Operating Priorities.

Key Functions

• Work Independently and as a Team member with Integrity | Precision | Accomplishment | Motivational Ambition | Respect | Inclusion

• Calibration, Troubleshooting, Repair, and Preventive Maintenance of laboratory and process instrumentation and equipment for Customers regulated by the USDA, ensure conformance to established calibration and process specifications

• Capable of supporting the calibration of: Gas, Conductivity, Dimensional, Flow (air & liquid), Humidity, Level, Load Cells & Scales, pH, Pipettes, Power Supplies (volts/amps), Pressure, Resistance, Speed, Temperature, and Timing Devices

• Support laboratory equipment calibrations and loop calibrations of process instrumentation to ensure conformance to established calibration and process specifications

• Follow company SOPs, Customer Procedures, and industry best practices

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Associate degree with technical discipline such as Industrial Maintenance Technology preferred

Experience | Skills | Knowledge

Required

• Five years related experience in the Calibration Services Industry or related field

• Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft office, email, and can learn to work within custom database and software applications

• Aptitude to effectively problem-solve and collaborate with others

• Principled and strong interpersonal and communication skills | Ability to move between task types and remain efficient, show initiative, good planning and organizational skills look for and pitch process improvements

• Aable to lift 50 lbs., work on equipment bending, kneeling, sitting, and/or standing

• Successful completion of a Physical Abilities Test

• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve problems and make decisions while working in manufacturing environment

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including the ability to comprehend equipment instruction/service manuals and drawings

• Ability to interact with a variety of customers (Production, Vendors, and Management)

• Expertise and proficiency with basic office computer software, and the ability to learn how to effectively use SAP maintenance software and ProCal calibration software to input data, research parts and analyze repair history details

• ​Exposure to extreme temperatures, outside weather in all conditions, high noise environments, work areas near moving mechanical parts and any chemicals used in production process
