Work you'll do/Responsibilities

  • Be the face to the client for the project. Manage client communications, expectations, and escalations
    • Focus will be on strong Project Management from a build and implementation perspective for infrastructure
  • Lead, manage, and direct project teams on project deliverables within client budget guidelines (Fixed or Variable)
    • Will need to operate across multiple projects within a Shared Services capacity and prioritize competing tasks
  • Work with DevOps resources and tech leads to improve their skills and identify growth and leadership opportunities
  • Work with GCO team to schedule and deliver automated reporting required by pod teams for clients and CMS leadership
  • Work with SDMS's and PPMD's to manage client relationships and communications
  • Notify CMS and project leadership of any potential escalations related to project delivery
  • Continually Monitor SNOW/Jira Queues for assigned project tasks
  • Review completeness and quality of the documentation for the work completed by the team for your projects
  • Facilitate issue resolution and build task completion of DevOps team members on your projects
  • Work with the tech lead for your projects to deliver any Root cause documents, reports, or other

Qualifications - Required
  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience in a large, diverse, server environment
  • Demonstrated experience leading large projects within a Shared Services capacity or more than one client engagement simultaneously, interpret project requirements, and working directly with clients to develop customized solutions
    • Need to be able to talk through project requirements and put together project schedule utilizing knowledge of the underlying infrastructure specifics
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent working experience
  • Must have active Secret Clearance
  • Travel up to 25% (while 25% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Qualifications - Preferred
  • Certifications in system administration, system architecture, virtualization, or cloud technologies
    • Operational Certifications: ITL or PMP
  • Security+ Certification
