What you will do:

The role of the IT Senior Manager, DRE – Service Delivery Coordination, works with various IT Service Delivery, Infrastructure, and IT security team to deliver quality service delivery to DRE customers. This includes managing and facilitating meetings, IT service delivery managers ensure that teams are improving performance, service, and product quality. To ensure that listings are accurate, IT service delivery managers review IT service catalogs to add missing services or make recommendations for services that are not offered. The role of IT Manager, DRE – Service Delivery Coordination, is to ensure the value is achieved as anticipated form the outsourced relationships under management and the overall services are delivered as expressed in the Statement of Work and related exhibits, service levels for outsourced services/functions are maintained and continually improved, and that any problems with the day-to-day delivery of services provided by the Supplier are minimized.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Service Level Management, Client Service Management, Supplier Relationship Management, and Capacity Management

  • Partner with business and technical teams to drive consensus on the best solution to business problems and the delivery of new solutions and enhancements. Ability to influence without authority.

  • Execute and partner with leaders to assist in developing the overall strategy of the Digital, Robotics, and Enabling Technologies

  • Ensure clear communication between business stakeholders and IT technical teams.

  • People Management and Leadership: Responsible for supervising day-to-day activities of managers, technical leads, and developers. Ensures appropriate staffing of roles and skills by hiring and developing the talent. Mentors and develops teams of managers, consultants, tech leads, junior architects and team leads. Partners with IS leads, is a key conduit into Stryker Global Technology Center (SGTC) technology development teams. Leads and directs the work of development partners.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the areas of Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study required.

  • Advanced degree preferred

  • Certifications in one or more of the following ITIL, PMP, Agile Methodologies, Six Sigma, Lean

  • Minimum 10 years of IT experience; leading a team, setting priorities and plans to meet business goals and objectives.

  • 5+ years of leadership responsibility managing internal and external teams, influencing senior-level management and stakeholders; medical device or other regulated industry preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience and demonstrated knowledge in IT Service Management & Operations. Demonstrated experience in Provider and sourcing Management, experience in ITIL-based Service Management role, preferably Service Level Management.

  • 5+ years of experience of project/program/delivery management.

  • Experience developing partnerships with the technical, business, and sales teams utilizing strong communication and team building skills.

  • Experience in working a managed service model.

  • Critical Thinking: Must look at the numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings.

  • Experience working with business leaders is required.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix organization structure with significant emphasis on collaboration and persuasion, rather than relying entirely on command and control.

  • Experience with process mapping is required.

This job may be performed remotely from anywhere in the United States, except that this job may not be filled or performed in Colorado.
