This full-time Product Manger role within Deloitte's Digital Banking Solutions offering will support Deloitte's Banking-as-a-Service asset. The Digital Banking Solutions team supports Deloitte's biggest investments in hybrid businesses from incubate and launch through scale execution.

Our Core Industry Solutions practice encompasses industry vertical, sector specific solutions that leverage distinct technologies to drive operational change and automate the core of the business. Examples of the type of work we deliver to our clients includes Digital CARE (Epic), Insurance CST (Guidewire), and Digital Banking Solutions (nCino), and BaaS .

The team brings experience from across Deloitte to leverage common approaches, best practices, and strategic investments to scale these solutions by industry strategy. Professionals will focus on key client issues that are at the core of the business by integrating our industry expertise with deep technical and operational transformation capabilities.

You can't solve today's challenges by focusing on single layer (experience, cloud, core) nor on a single vendor partner - so we've built an ecosystem solution that has the hard parts of integration, data standards, and core configuration already developed to enable banking solutions. We do this by plugging in fintech partners and existing capabilities (e.g., cards, BSA-AML.) from a single framework that allows our clients to launch new propositions at speed.

Work you'll do

Some core activities you will own as a Product Manager within BaaS's team include:

• Deliver the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to establish best in class, industry leading and well-adopted products

• Assist in the management of the entire product lifecycle, from strategic planning to tactical activities, including but not limited to identifying business objectives, use case definition, and prioritization to ensure business requirements are met

• Ensure product development optimally aligns with business objectives and overall product vision

• Gather and prioritize market, customer, and internal feedback and requirements

• Own product planning - roadmap, releases & sprints by working closely with Product Owners and Product Development Managers (US and USI) to communicate priorities, estimate effort, set scope, and define timelines for all new development initiatives

• Maintain and advocate for architectural and design principles that support performance, capacity, scalability, and development

• Perform market research through on-going conversations with clients, FinTech partners, industry experts, and other stakeholders to meet Banking requirements for current and future products

• Work closely with the GTM product design, operations, architecture, and development teams to design, architect, and implement new capabilities

• Partner with business leadership and production teams to provide client-friendly explanations of technical solutions and project estimates

• Assist peers in product management, engineering, and design teams in understanding complex systems

• Sustain the product and guide continued product evolution

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years experience in product management

• Strong problem solving, decision-making, and data analysis skills

• Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills

• Proven track record in product development and delivery

• Proven track record of leading and delivering digital products and services that balance business and user needs

• Proven track record in product managing one or multiple products, including multiple release cycles

• Effectively size and prioritize scope features and releases for on time delivery

• Experience with design and development methodologies including Agile/Scrum/Kanban/DevOps

• Strong advocate of user-driven product design and data-driven product refinement

• Passion and curiosity around technology and human interaction

• Understanding of market trends and a keen interest in following emerging technologies

• Be curious and have a strong desire to learn and adapt

• Ability to work independently and take initiative in ambiguous environments

• Travel up to 50% (while 50% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice).

Preferred:

• Financial Service/Banking/FinTech experience; understands the basics of industry solutions and excited about the potential to reimagine and disrupt legacy

• Ability to manage and meet delivery milestones across a portfolio of projects

• Strong executive communication skills

• Basic exposure to customer-centric design and working with product design teams to develop market trending design
