Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Solution Specialist, Customer & Marketing, Digital Customer in Lake Mary, FL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Designing and implementing service experience, capability, and architecture required to bring customer strategies to life. Working with client subject matter experts and business analysts to design and develop an approach for configuration, estimate configuration effort, and produce design documents. Performing assessments of existing information systems and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Participating in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases, ensuring the number of defects raised are kept at a minimum and resolved efficiently. Evaluating business scenarios and working with the functional team on feasibility of various solutions suggested. Designing applications that can integrate with external systems while ensuring performance of the main system doesn't experience degradation and works efficiently. Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze client requirements, and translate requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs using knowledge about the Salesforce development, Microsoft (MS) Team Foundation Server (TFS), Gearset, Salesforce Communities and Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. Participating in activities using Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) models, including requirement gathering, development, testing and eventual deployment. Performing application code review to mitigate errors and ensure quality delivery of Salesforce development projects.

  • 15% travel required nationally.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or a related field and one (1) year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must also have one (1) year of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Developing Visualforce pages, Apex components, Apex triggers, Apex classes, and Apex controllers;
  • Creating Salesforce test classes to mitigate application errors and ensure quality delivery of Salesforce development projects;
  • Implementing Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) and Salesforce Object Search Language (SOSL) programs to extract data from databases;
  • Applying OOP concepts to develop Apex classes and Apex interfaces;
  • Using Apex classes, Salesforce documentation, MS TFS, Gearset, Salesforce Communities, OOP concepts, and Visualforce pages for the design and development of solutions;
  • Creating and modifying data centric reports to support decision making; and
  • Planning, deploying, and monitoring Salesforce seed data between several sandboxes to ensure the system is organized and up to date.
  • 15% travel required nationally.
